Scientists are accelerating and smashing atomic particles and this activity may give them information on how our universe evolved. There are almost 8,000 scientists and engineers representing 600 universities and 113 nationalities.


The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) lies in a tunnel 600 feet under the ground and stretches in a circle 27 kilometres long (to Coldwater and back?)


And get this: it cost $9 billion! How is that for a story??!!  --  non-fiction
